Fleas and Ticks . . . . . . . . .

FLEAS
The cat flea is the most common ectoparasite of both dogs and cats in the United States and has been found on over a dozen other animals.
They may attack a wide variety of warm-blooded animals including dogs, humans, chickens, ducks, rabbits, squirrels, rats and mice. Our pest treatments for fleas will control these infestations with the customer’s assistance.

TICKS
The tick we are most concerned about in south Florida is the Brown Dog Tick. Ticks do not fly but can climb great heights and will hide in the smallest crack or crevice. The tick is a very tough customer. Treatments must be aggressive and very intensive to gain control of these pests. Unlike fleas, all areas of the structure can become infested and all areas must be treated if a structure has been infected for a long time.--

TREATMENTS
Our treatments are rigorous and we must have the same customer assistance for ticks as for fleas. Additional preparations may be needed to be completed prior to treatment. It is very important that interior and exterior treatments are performed at the same time to gain control of these unwanted pests. Several treatments may be required and on-going regular maintenance is recommended. People and pets must stay off treated areas until dry. We also recommend consulting your veterinarian about using monthly topical products for your pet.
